As our conversations grew, I became increasingly curious about Sydney and the opportunities it offered. To explore the city and spend some time with my friend, I planned a visit from 7 April to 10 April 2026. That short journey turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences of my life. Sydney's vibrant atmosphere, iconic landmarks, beautiful harbour views, and welcoming environment left a lasting impression on me. Every moment of the trip from walking around the city, discovering new places, and creating cherished memories made me feel a strong sense of belonging.
The visit inspired me to make an important decision about my academic journey. After returning, I decided to transfer my campus from Brisbane to Sydney so that I could continue my studies in a place that had already captured my heart. With excitement and optimism for a new chapter, I relocated to Sydney on 31 May 2026 and commenced my second trimester on 1 June 2026.
Looking back, it is remarkable how an unexpected introduction through a cousin led to a friendship, a memorable journey, and ultimately a life-changing decision. What started as a simple Facebook connection became a beautiful chapter filled with new experiences, meaningful memories, and fresh opportunities for personal and academic growth.
